I found the CompBio MPhil to be one of the most well rounded educational experiences for those interested in academic and industrial scientific careers. It manages to find the right balance of teaching and research that is so difficult to fit into one year multi-disciplinary courses. I have yet to come across a similar programme that caters so well to a wide selection of scientific interests. Thanks to the CompBio MPhil I have managed to develope skills for modern data-rich research, whilst also starting my own VC-backed company within the Cambridge Cluster.
