Links with Industry

The CCBI Industry Club is open to any company that wishes to join. We actively seek companies who are interested in preferential access to the research and educational outputs of the CCBI, as well as those who wish to keep themselves updated in this key emerging area.

As one of our interests is in the fusion of quantitative biology into clinical care, we seek partners particularly in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, health-care and IT sectors. We also welcome institutional investors and venture capital members.

The club has three levels of membership:

Silver-level membership, which starts at £1,000 per annum, gives members two complimentary tickets to attend a major annual conference in Cambridge focussed on computational, systems and stem cell biology.

Gold-level membership, starting at £7,000, provides members with access to two major conferences in Cambridge and access to closed workshops.

Platinum-level membership, starting at £20,000, provides all the benefits of gold-level membership and the time of experts to work on individual company areas in confidence on joint research.

The benefits and value that joining the club will bring to your company

A key component of the CCBI is to facilitate and encourage exchange of knowledge between academic researchers and their industrial counterparts in businesses of all sizes. It will also forge close working relationships with and between those companies that are leading the development and application of computational biology. The club will allow the CCBI to develop and integrate the interests and requirements of industry, in particular in the development of pharmacogenetics and genomics and the discovery of drugs that are more specifically designed to the underlying causes of disease.
